Practical Suggestions in Using this Book（使用本书的实用建议）
　　The pieces in this book are graded from easier to more difficult, with the exception of the complete suite by S. L. Weiss which is printed in its correct order, but contains movements which are very easy as well as some of considerable challenge. The notes with each piece are important to the amateur and should at least be considered as they may help with a passage of technical difficulty. In particular the suggestions on trills and ornamentation are given to help those unfamiliar with this period, and since this is perhaps a subject which tends to alarm the amateur I feel that a few preliminary notes may serve to explain the comparative simplicity of the basic rules.
